Blowing the whistle

To maintain an open and transparent government it is important to ensure people wanting to speak out about corruption and misconduct in public bodies are adequately supported. This is why the Territory Government appointed an independent Commissioner for Public Interest Disclosure to assist and protect people wanting to disclose information, to investigate their concerns and to make recommendations to address any improper conduct found.
